Grant is a highly experienced driving instructor and former Field Training Officer / Defensive Driver of 19 years for the NSW Police. Grant is pleasant and easy to learn from. He has extensive training experience and is always increasing his own professional development. Having seen too much road trauma as a police officer, Grant is extremely passionate about assisting learner drivers, supervisors and also experienced drivers to learn and keep up to date with techniques for safer driver practices.
Grant is a fully qualified driving instructor and holds a current Certificate IV TAE. He trains and assesses new Driving Instructors through the Nationally Accredited Certificate IV in Road Transport (Car Instruction) under the auspice of RTO 40791.
He is a Module 1 Facilitator and Module 2 Coach for the Safer Drivers Course and RMS Accredited Older Driver Assessor. Grant instructs in his own automatic vehicle but can also instruct in your auto or manual vehicle. However, your vehicle must be registered, roadworthy and fully insured. If you wish to use your own vehicle, you must complete at least one driving lesson with a Learn Drive Survive Driving Instructor and have at least 30 hours of supervised driving.
